5ct Diamond Ring

5ct Diamond Ring

At Claudia Jewellers, we have the pleasure of designing and creating some truly spectacular pieces of bespoke jewellery. From classic solitaire rings, to more unique pieces, our team of designers and jewellers can bring ideas to life.

Recently, we created an extraordinary 5ct diamond ring for a wonderful client. It was designed to replace her original engagement ring, as a celebration of many years spent in a happy marriage and a good omen of more to come.

The Diamond

The centrepiece for this bold design is a 5ct cut-cornered rectangular diamond, graded as an SI2 in clarity and E in colour.

Having an expert understanding of gemmology and design is essential when sourcing a diamond of this calibre. Our team has a combined 100 years experience in their craft and used both their industry knowledge and connections to source the highest quality diamond possible.

The Design

A stone of such size and impact required the perfect setting. Not only did it need to provide aesthetic balance and display the majesty of the 5ct diamond, but provide exceptional structural support to keep the stone secure.

Cast in 18ct white gold, the setting featured a double halo of round brilliant cut diamonds and four rows of pavé set diamonds in the band.

This piece was somewhat of a masterpiece for our team, being the largest diamond we have worked with to date. It was an honour to work with such a unique stone and to craft it into a piece which will be treasured for a lifetime.
